Las Vegas Sands Resolves Money-Laundering Investigation

After months of legal negotiation, Las Vegas Sands has settled accusations that it was involved in money laundering. A high-roller involved in drug dealing had wired the Palazzo tens of millions of dollars. The casino did not report the money as required by law. Now the company will return $47.4 million and acknowledge that they failed to report suspicious financial activity.
