Bad move? That's apparently the thought at the New York Mets about their new AAA affiliate - the Las Vegas 51s. They hate Cashman and its lack of facilities but more than that, the desert has created a hitter's paradise where routine ground balls speed to the outfield. And the lack of moisture wrecks pitchers' control, so hitters run up spectacular numbers they cannot repeat at CitiField.
