Nowadays we call gambling entertainment. In early 19th century London, though, it was often a matter of life and death as fortunes were own and lost. And, according to novelist Sarah Maclean, the hearts of fair ladies were also won and lost in these "gaming hells." Maclean has just published the second novel in her romance series "The Rule of Scoundrels" and will be speaking in Las Vegas on Saturday.
