Marilyn's Farm

About two years ago, Marilyn Yamamoto stood on a dusty, empty lot in North Las Vegas.  She had a water tank, some personal funds, and a dream that one day this lot would be a thriving organic farm.  Today, Marilyn is the proud owner of Cowboy Trail Farm, an organic farm filled with fruit trees, chiles, carrots, squash, tomatoes, a tropical hothouse, and plenty of volunteers.  She sells at farmers' markets, and even runs her own Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) group, where people get weekly deliveries of veggies.  We talk to Marilyn about her "Field of Dreams," and how she brought a community together to make her desert farm possible.
