Controversial Gun Range to Open at Palazzo Shoppes

The Shoppes at the Palazzo host a number of high-end stores like Burberry, Fendi, and Salvatore Ferragamo.  And now, it might have its own gun range.  Italian gunmaker Beretta is planning on opening a 19,000 square foot gun store and firing range inside the Palazzo mall.  The Clark County Planning Commission approved the permit, 4-1, but lawyers for the Venetian and Wynn resorts claim mixing guns, alcohol, and close quarters is a "tragedy waiting to happen."
