Empire: Spiegelworld exports Las Vegas entertainment to New York

By now, most Las Vegans have seen Absinthe, the vaudeville-style show performed in a tent outside Caesars Palace. Unlike the large-scale cirque spectacles, the acts in Absinthe are performed at close-quarters, with just a few props. The show just celebrated its one-year anniversary.

Now Spiegelworld is taking a show rehearsed in Las Vegas to New York City.  Empire is a cast of of tumblers, contortionists and clowns has been here for the past two weeks, and just held a dress rehearsal at the Absinthe tent on May 13th. Now they head to New York to pitch a tent on the only empty lot in Times Square.
