Do E-Cigarettes Help You Quit Smoking

If you've decided to give up cigarettes, there are multiple ways to quit smoking: the patch, nicotine gum... even going cold turkey.  But some smokers say e-cigarettes are the answer - those are electronic cigarettes that heat up nicotine, letting you taste it without inhaling dangerous smoke.  They're cheaper than cigarettes, and satisfy that hand-to-mouth desire, they say.

But critics say they shouldn't be using them in "non-smoking" areas, even if they aren't real cigarettes, and say they send a bad message.  So how do e-cigarettes work?  Do they help smokers quit?  And why do e-cigarette users still get a bad rap, even if they're not technically "smoking"?  The head of the National Vapers Club gives us the inside scoop.  The Vegas Vapefest for e-cigarette users runs Sept. 16-17 at the Flamingo Hotel.
