More Defects for the Harmon Tower

An engineering firm said the defects of an unfinished CityCenter hotel are "pervasive" and would likely collapse in an earthquake.  Construction on the Harmon hotel tower stalled a few years ago, when the county discovered structural problems.  Now this latest report suggests the Harmon might not even be repairable.  What does this latest news mean for the hotel's operator, MGM Resorts International?  Will it tear the Harmon down?  And how will the county, contractors, and architects prevent these problems in the future?
