NPR Ombudsman Alicia Shepard

National Public Radio was the first U.S. broadcasting company to hire an ombudsman. Who is this person and what do they do? Basically, they're supposed to be the public's representative and takes calls and complaints from listeners. Alicia Shepard is about to leave her post.
