The Catalogs Are Coming

It's time to plant those tomatoes. Just don't make them jumbo-sized. Angela O'Callaghan helps us make sense of seeds and which are appropriate for our desert climate.

This spring she'll be doing a series of classes - one Saturday per month at the University Cooperative Extension offices in Green Valley.

On February 26th she'll be teaching her Gardening in Small Places class.

March 19th, she'll teach part two of that class, entitled "Gardening in Small Places: What went wrong?" It covers how to scout out problems and some less toxic solutions.

There was such a large demand for her January Compost class that she will repeat it on April 23rd.

All of these classes have limited enrollment so you need to reserve a spot. Call the Master Gardener Help line for more information: (702) 257-5555
