Longtime National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, Abraham Foxman, has just published a new book, Jews and Money: The Story of a Stereotype. The book covers anger and resentment directed at Jews from the earliest days of Christianity to the recent coverage of Bernie Madoff, which Foxman thinks was tinged with anti-Semitism. We talk with Foxman about his book and the state of ethnic and religious hatred in the United States as well as his recent foray into the so-called Ground Zero Mosque controversy.
