International Drag Day

What brings together kings, queens, and nuns in four-inch platform heels? International Drag Day, of course! Drag kings, drag queens and the Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (aka nine "nuns" who dress in drag) will be celebrating in style this Friday at the Erotic Heritage Museum. The event is sponsored by Where's My Lesbian, an international LGBTQ web site. So what's drag culture all about? And what inspires grown men and women to cross the gender line? We talk to an organizer and a drag queen about International Drag Day and why it's about more than just "dressing up."

The event takes place Friday at 8 p.m. at the Erotic Heritage Museum. The drag show performance starts at 9 p.m. Cover is $10 and proceeds will benefit the nonprofit group, Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
