Author and adventurer Jonathan Waterman talks to us about his book Running Dry: A Journey From Source to Sea Down the Dying Colorado River. The book chronicles the long term effects of multiple layers of water agreements and anachronistic rights policies as well as the explosive growth in the Desert Southwest in recent years. His journey also allowed time for self-evaluation and deep contemplation about his family.
