West Career and Technical Academy is slated to open next year. It's the latest magnet school created by Clark County School District. It plans to put students into programs focusing on Biotechnology, Veterinary and Medical Sciences, Health Care Administration and Environmental and Natural Resources Studies. Principal Monte Bay talks about the school's approach and what kind of students the schools hopes to attract.
