The College of Southern Nevada thought it was on track to apply for special federal funding as an Hispanic educational institution next year. The formula will require it to wait a few more years, but the college is still planning on seeking special those dollars in the next few years - in fact, as soon as it can qualify. We talk with college officials and a critic of education funding based on ethnicity.
