Scientists recently discovered a massive formation of liquid rock beneath the Great Basin. Their discovery required computer modeling and new mapping technology. We talk with Professor Matt Fouch of Arizona State University who was one of the team that discovered the formation that runs hundreds of miles beneath the earth's crust.
