Grand Openings

The parking lot put up by the Las Vegas sign came just in time for a record snowfall and a lot of posed pictures. But what did its introduction say about the tradition of grand openings in this city? Instead of the glitzy things you might imagine, these locations of these fetes are more reflective of the much current state of our economy.
