John Kerry - Nuclear Issues

At a speech Tuesday in Florida, Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry announced an initiative to keep terrorists from acquiring nuclear weapons. Among his proposals are classifying any material that could be used in a nuclear weapon, as a nuclear weapon, and the U-S taking the lead in preventing a new generation of nuclear weapons from being developed. KNPR's Ky Plaskon spoke to Kerry about his proposal and how it might affect the plan to store nuclear waste at Yucca mountain.
