People 70 and older can now get their COVID-19 vaccinations at any of the 45 Smith's Food & Drug locations in Nevada.
The stores started administering the Moderna vaccine Wednesday.
There is no charge, but an appointment is required. A spokesman said it’s as fast and simple as getting a flu shot, although patients have to wait for 15 minutes outside the pharmacy to make sure there aren’t side effects.

And, appointments are limited, with each store able to vaccinate 20 to 30 people per day. Walgreen’s pharmacies are also offering the shots for people 70 and older.
