Reid Speaks Out On Pres. Trump Call To Georgia Governor

In an interview with CNN, former Nevada Senator Harry Reid described President Trump’s Saturday phone call to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp as bordering on criminality.

Trump called Kemp to demand that the governor take action to nullify votes that gave President-elect Joe Biden a win in last month’s elections.

Reid described the Trump call as an action “outside the realm of reality,” saying the effort to undermine the election is, in Reid’s words, “one of many things Trump has done that bordered on criminality.”

In the call, Kemp told Trump that he doesn’t have the power to overturn a presidential vote in a democracy.
