NV Energy is preparing for a planned power outage on Mt Charleston on Friday.
The planned outage is due to concern over extremely dry fire conditions. It’s set to begin 10 a.m. Friday and run for 24 hours, depending on weather conditions.
Just over 470 customers would be affected, and during the outage NV Energy crews will inspect power lines for possible damage.
