Nevada Residents To Report Issues, Virus Violations On App

LAS VEGAS (AP) — County officials in Nevada have launched a new reporting tool allowing residents to make requests for service and bring attention to issues such as COVID-19 restriction violations.

The FixIt Clark County application allows residents in Las Vegas and surrounding suburbs to report issues based on their location by submitting pictures and writing descriptions of their concerns.

Residents can report issues such as potholes, graffiti, street lights, trash, short-term rentals and COVID-19 violations and then track the progress of their reports.

County staff will be able to view and manage requests. It is unclear how quickly requests are expected to be resolved or how many staff members are dedicated to managing reports.
