Fire Restrictions Lifted On Nevada Public Lands

Wildland fire officials have lifted fire restrictions across much of Nevada’s public lands.

The Bureau of Land Management, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and Nevada Division of Forestry rescinded the current 2020 Nevada-wide fire restrictions Tuesday.

Officials say given the recent precipitation, higher humidity, and cooler temperatures across Nevada, the risk of wildfire has started to gradually decline.

However, they warn wildfires can still occur during any time of year, and the public should continue to be careful.
