LAS VEGAS (AP) — Glitter Gulch gives way to the newest and tallest building in downtown Las Vegas when Circa Resort & Casino opens early Wednesday.
Owner Derek Stevens says it's got the world's largest sports betting center. It also has a six-pool rooftop swimming stadium that Stevens expects will attract thousands of people a day.
Circa is the first new property to open downtown since 1980. Stevens declines to say what it cost, because it's privately owned.
