Nevada small businesses needing financial assistance because of the pandemic can now get it from the state of Nevada.
The Pandemic Emergency Technical Supports grant program started taking applications today from small businesses, nonprofits, and arts and culture organizations.
Businesses and nonprofits can get up to $10,000, as can a chamber of commerce serving fewer than 10 businesses.
Those serving more than 10, and arts and culture organizations, can get up to $20.000.
The money can be used for expenses including payroll, inventory, and PPE supplies. The grants do not need to be repaid.
The state has $20 million available.
