LAS VEGAS (AP) — Higher education officials are searching for a new president for Nevada State College.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the Nevada System of Higher Education on Friday announced that search forums will begin in October for a new president for the Henderson college with more than 5,500 students.

It's the latest in a series of leadership changes in the state higher education system. A new chancellor at the Nevada System of Higher Education started Monday.

A new University of Nevada, Las Vegas president started Aug. 24. Officials are also searching for a new president of the University of Nevada, Reno.
