More than 1.74 million passengers flew in and out of McCarran International Airport in August.
The Clark County Department of Aviation says this was an increase from July’s 1.62 million, but a huge drop from August of last year.
In August 2019, 4.43 million passengers passed through the airport.

For the year, 15 million flyers used the airport, down by about 55 percent compared to the same period last year.
International travel provided 8,747 passengers last month, down from more than 335,000 in August 2019.
