CCSD Expands Free Meal Program

The Clark County School District is now able to provide free meals to all children between the ages of two and 18 after the Department of Agriculture approved a waiver the district had requested.

School meals are normally provided only to registered students from low-income families, but CCSD wanted to expand eligibility because of the pandemic.

Meals can be picked up at any of the 300 sites, using drive-through. Pickup times vary, with elementary schools serving meals from 7 to 10 a.m., middle schools from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and high schools from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
