Equal access to virtual learning for all Nevada students is the aim of Connecting Kids, a newly formed coalition of non-profits, businesses, and local and state agencies.
It was organized by Elaine Wynn, president of the Nevada State Board of Education, and Jim Murren, chairman of the Nevada COVID-19 Task Force.
Also involved are Communities in Schools of Nevada and The Public Education Foundation.

Connecting Kids is already active in Clark County, providing students with an internet connection subsidized by the Clark County School District with the help of Cox Communications.
