LAS VEGAS (AP) — The number of air travelers in and out of Las Vegas is rising, but passenger traffic remains well below pre-coronavirus pandemic levels.
McCarran International Airport reported Thursday it handled 1.6 million arriving and departing passengers in July. That's down nearly two-thirds from the same month a year ago, but up from the 1 million people the airport saw in June.
McCarran regularly handled 4 million passengers per month before the emergence of the COVID-19 illness.
