Las Vegas Justice Court has received a $50,000 grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety for its 2021 Driving Under the Influence Treatment Court program.
The grant supports a specialty DUI Treatment Court that provides a treatment program for misdemeanor DUI offenders, with a mix of treatment and court supervision.
The court says 124 defendants participated in the program last year, with a retention rate of 93 percent.
