MGM Resorts International announced Wednesday that executive Bill Hornbuckle is now officially the company’s president and CEO.
In March, Hornbuckle became the temporary replacement for Jim Murren, who stepped down as chairman and CEO earlier this year.
The company said the decision was reached after a nationwide search and MGM’s board of directors concluded that Hornbuckle was the right person for the job.
