Ex-Wrestler Running For Congress Subject Of 911 Calls

The now-wife of a former professional wrestler, who is running for Congress, called 911 twice about him in 2018.

Neither of the calls led to charges against Republican Daniel Rodimer. The first call from Rodimer's then-girlfriend was a domestic violence accusation.

Las Vegas police wrote that the incident seemed to be an argument. Months later, Rodimer's girlfriend called to report he had stolen $20,000, jewelry and some handguns.

Police wrote they advised her to calm down and try to resolve things civilly. Rodimer's campaign characterized the incidents as "verbal disputes" and noted the couple is happily married with a baby on the way.

Rodimer is challenging Rep. Susie Lee, D-NV., in November.
