Bars in 7 Nevada Counties Ordered To Close After Virus Spike

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Seven Nevada counties are now under an order to again close bars and re-impose limits on restaurants because of the coronavirus.

Governor Steve Sisolak announced Thursday Nevada would join other states in reclosing bars after seeing a spike in new positive cases in recent weeks. Restaurants are also being required to close their bar areas.

The governor’s order affects Clark, Elko, Humboldt, Lander, Lyon, Nye and Washoe counties.
