Clark County Approves Aid For Small Businesses Hurt By Shutdown

The Clark County Commission approved creating three grant programs to help small businesses impacted by the shutdown put in place to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Under the programs, small businesses can apply for grants of up to $10,000 to pay for rent, utilities, payroll or business improvements like plexiglass barriers and extra hand washing facilities.

There are different requirements for each of the three grants but all businesses must be based in Clark County, have a local business license and have 20 or fewer employees.
