Four students in UNLV’s athletics programs have tested positive for COVID-19. The school says voluntary workouts, which began for some sports June 8, are now on hold until July 5 at the earliest.
Infected students are in quarantine, and UNLV also said a “handful” of additional students are in isolation “out of an abundance of caution.” The coronavirus cases were revealed by routine screening.
UNLV says it will follow medical guidance on when to open for workouts again.
