The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, along with many other government agencies, remain closed under the Phase I reopening plans.
People with expiring documents will now have 90 days after the DMV reopens to get it renewed.
DMV online services and kiosks remain open, which can be used for vehicle registration.
