Las Vegas Diocese Extends Suspension Of Mass Through May 31

The Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas has extended the suspension of masses through May 31.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Bishop George Leo Thomas also gave permission to parishioners to miss mass. 

All other activities at parish venues, including churches, worship spaces and adoration chapels, will also remain suspended.

Bishop Thomas also announced the formation of the Diocesan Restoration Council. It will be chaired by John Kilduff, president of Bishop Gorman High School, and include representatives from the fields of medicine, gaming, education, pastoral ministry, and law enforcement.
