The head of the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation has left.
Tiffany Tyler-Garner's departure on Tuesday comes as the state is seeing a record number of unemployment claims in the wake of business closures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Gov. Steve Sisolak appointed Heather Korbulic as interim director of DETR. Before the appointment, Korbulic was the executive director of the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange.
