Fourth Worker At Resorts World Site Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Developer Genting Group reported Monday a fourth worker at the Resorts World Las Vegas site has tested positive for COVID-19.

Work continues on the $4.3 billion Las Vegas Strip hotel-casino, after Governor Steve Sisolak declared last month construction is considered essential.

Resorts World has an opening set for the summer of 2021.

The company says it’s following preventative procedures to minimize the risk of transmission of the virus and that it has shifted its focus to only critical areas of the project site.

Wellness screenings are required for workers at the start of each shift and additional hand-washing stations have been installed across the property.
