MGM Says Coronavirus Patient Stayed At Mirage

MGM Resorts International announced Wednesday that one of the people in Clark County that tested positive for the novel coronavirus stayed at the Mirage.

The company reported the patient attended the Women of Power Summit from March 5 through 8. When the patient was discovered, the staff at the Mirage worked with state health officials to thoroughly clean the person's room, the company said.

She is a woman in her 40s from New York. She is stable and isolated/

MGM said it is currently working with the Southern Nevada Health District to notify guests and employees who may have had extended contact with the patient.

There are currently five cases of coronavirus in Clark County. Four are presumptive cases and another was confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday.
