The air traffic control tower at McCarran International Airport reopened Wednesday morning.

It closed a week ago when a controller tested positive for the coronavirus.

The closure led to long delays and hundreds of canceled flights.

Delays for arriving flights were averaging about three hours Wednesday morning, according to the FAA website.

The FAA didn’t have any update on the infected controller but said staffing levels will slowly increase.
