LAS VEGAS (AP) — People unable to use a shelter tied to a coronavirus case were laying out blankets on white-lined patches of pavement in Las Vegas on Monday.
Officials nationwide are working to protect residents who cannot stay in homes to help slow the spread of the illness.
Officials opened part of a parking lot as a makeshift homeless shelter after a shelter closed when a man staying there tested positive for the coronavirus.
