The City of Henderson will host a community meeting next Monday in the wake of complaints about a proposed arena that would be home to the new Golden Knights minor league team.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports some residents have concerns about an increase in traffic, the overall impact on the area, and the $40 million in tax money that would help build it.
The meeting will be in the Sun City MacDonald Ranch clubhouse with presentations at 4, 5 and 6 p.m. The arena would replace the Henderson Pavilion, which the city says needs a lot of repair work.
