Health District Approves Money To Build Facility For COVID-19 Patients

The Southern Nevada Health District approved $3 million to build a facility to house people who have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The facility will be for people who have tested positive but don't need to be hospitalized or have been released from the hospital but still need to be quarantined.

The annex would primarily be for the homeless, people living in group facilities like a nursing home or people who traveled here but don't have a place to isolate.
