Members Of Vagos Bikers Cleared Of All Charges In US Court

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Eight accused Vagos biker gang members were acquitted of all charges alleging they were part of a broad criminal racketeering enterprise that committed violent crimes for more than a decade, including the killing of a rival Hells Angels leader in a casino shootout in 2011.

Gasps erupted Monday in the Las Vegas courtroom as the verdicts were read. One defense attorney later said the outcome was the result of the government relying on tricks and liars.

The jury deliberated only about two days after more than five months of contentious testimony in a troubled trial that saw some witnesses stunningly recant their own stories on the witness stand.
