CCSD Employees Say Payroll Issues Still Not Resolved

Tensions boiled over at a Clark County School Board meeting because of payroll issues that district staff say have not been resolved.

Problems with the district’s new $17 million Human Capital Management System led to more than 7,800 teachers and substitutes being shorted on paychecks in January.

Administrators, support staff and police were also affected by the glitchy software. Some district employees say they are still missing money owed them as of this week’s payday despite the district issuing multiple out-of-cycle checks to make up the difference.

District IT staff say they hope to have the issues resolved by the end of March.
