Arizona Coyotes coach Rick Tocchet will replace Gerard Gallant as coach of the Pacific Division team at the NHL All-Star game.
Gallant was fired by the Golden Knights after four losses in a row put the team at 24-19-6.
He was going to coach in the All-Star Game for the second time in three seasons after the Knights had the highest points percentage in the division at the NHL season’s official halfway point on January 2.
