The Bernie Sanders presidential campaign says the Clark County School District Board of Trustees President is endorsing the Vermont Senator for the Democratic nomination.
The campaign said Lola Brooks supports Sanders “because of his commitment to re-invest in public education.”
Brooks said Sanders’ Medicare for All program and other plans will enable schools to focus on “educating students versus providing for their basic needs.”
