Nevada Higher Ed Staying With NV Energy

The Nevada System of Higher Education will remain a customer of NV Energy.

NSHE says in a statement its board members voted to stay with the utility, which will make three $500,000 incentive payments for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021 to benefit NSHE's institutions.

As part of the Customer Service Agreement, NSHE promised to negotiate with NV Energy for its new fixed-rate renewable energy program, which will allow the entire system of higher education to continue its pursuit of using 100% renewable energy.
